Shaker style cabinets are a timeless classic. Characterized by their squared edges, these cabinets feature a classic boxed shape with four-cornered doors and an inset panel. The simple, yet elegant design makes Shaker style cabinets a great option for custom cabinetry.

Mission Style cabinetry is characterized by simple horizontal and vertical lines, which help to accentuate the natural beauty of the wood grain. This style also features straight angles and clean-cut edges for a timeless, classic look that will never go out of style.

Flat Panel Cabinetry is also known as slab cabinets, and is characterized by its flat front and minimal trim. These cabinets may or may not have hardware, making them ideal for those who prefer a minimalist look. They are a popular choice for modern design.

Raised panel cabinetry is an ornate style of cabinetry that features a raised center panel, which slopes to the corners. This style is highly detailed and is typically framed with a raised rim. Its intricate design lends itself to a timeless look that will enhance any kitchen space.

Our Process

01

Dealer Application Approval

We are pleased to offer our dealers the opportunity to apply for approval to sell our custom cabinetry. Applying is easy and requires no commitment or obligation. Once approved, you will receive a sample kit and access to our full product catalog. To apply, simply gather some basic personal information and send us an application. We'll review your application and contact you with the results of your approval.

02

Pick Wood Grain or Solid Color

When selecting your custom cabinetry, you can choose between wood grain or solid color finishes. If you prefer the look and feel of natural wood, wood grain is the perfect choice for you. For a more modern look, solid color can provide a sleek, contemporary look to your space. We use the highest grade materials and offer a variety of finishes, such as tinted paint coating and pre-catalyzed coating, to ensure that your cabinetry will stand the test of time. There are lots of custom options to choose from including various stains, paints, and glazes, ensuring you can find a style that fits your unique tastes.

03

Select Wood type

Fresh Start Woodworks offers a variety of wood types to choose from when creating a unique and personalized look for your home. Dealers can choose from Oak, Cherry, Maple, Rustic Alder, or MDF. MDF wood may only be used with a solid color, as the material is not suitable for stained finishes. Oak is the most popular wood type for cabinetry due to its durability and affordability. Cherry wood offers a rich, deep color that will add warmth and a touch of luxury to any kitchen. Maple is an excellent choice for a clean and modern look that will stand out in any home. Rustic Alder is a great option for a more rustic, natural look. All of these wood types are sure to bring a unique and beautiful design to your cabinetry.

04

Choose Door Style

At Fresh Start, we offer a variety of door styles to choose from for your custom cabinetry needs. Our styles include Shaker, Mission, Flat Panel, and Raised Panel. All of our door styles are created with high quality materials and are designed to last for years to come. Depending on the look you are going for in your home, you can select the door style that best suits your style and budget. Our experienced team of designers are here to help you make the perfect choice for your home.

05

Pick a Color

When it comes to custom cabinetry, there are many options when it comes to color. The most popular stain options include charcoal, black, white, walnut, and jacobean. Charcoal is a great choice for a modern look, black will give the cabinets a sleek finish, white is perfect for a fresh and clean look, walnut adds a touch of warmth, and jacobean offers a classic look. With so many options, you can easily pick the perfect color for your custom cabinetry.

06

Choose a Sheen

Sheen is the amount of light reflected from a surface. When selecting custom cabinetry, you have the option to choose your clear coat. We will offer between satin or semi-gloss. Satin is a medium sheen that has a subtle shine, and semi-gloss is a high sheen with a noticeable shine. Ultimately, the sheen you choose will depend on the desired look and feel for your custom cabinetry.
